Love Long Weekends

I hope you all had a fantastic long weekend. I know I sure did. Friday night BBQ with family, Saturday Kettle Bell workout followed by coffee, a well deserved nap and dinner out. Sunday morning yoga and brunch with friends then an evening spent at Bridgehead coffee house sipping green tea and reading the book 80/10/10 (more on this later). Monday I had boot camp in the morning then a hike in the afternoon. Talk about an active weekend! To supplement this active weekend I made lots of fresh smoothies and juices! Check below, this simple smoothie is to die for!

Strawberry, Banana, Cantaloupe Smoothie

Makes: 2 large servings Prep Time: 5 minutes

Nutrients:

  • 3 cups whole strawberries
  • 1 small- medium sized cantaloupe
  • 2-3 ripe bananas
  • Ice
  1. Place all ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend until smooth.
